Expert WordPress Developer Wanted

We are seeking a seasoned expert in building custom WordPress themes from scratch without relying on page builders or pre-made plugins. The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge of HTML5, Bootstrap PHP, JavaScript, jQuery, and WordPress Themes.

The perfect candidate will excel at converting Adobe XD website designs into a WordPress theme using clean PHP, HTML5, CSS, JS, and jQuery (without any tools or plugins). They must be proficient in implementing fluid, mobile-first layouts that adapt seamlessly across smartphones, tablets, laptops, and desktops with different screen sizes.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Convert complex website designs into fully functional WordPress templates, ensuring seamless user experience and performance optimization.
  • Implement cutting-edge web development techniques to achieve fast Core Web Vitals scores without using any plugins.
  • Ensure each page complies with WCAG 2.2 AA guidelines, incorporating on-page SEO best practices aligned to Google E-E-A-T.
  • Achieve exceptional search engine rankings by integrating meta tags, structured data, alt attributes, and internal linking strategies.
  • Based on content provided by the writing team, identify relevant multimedia elements to include in the page and increase engagement.
  • Connect and verify Google Search Console, Google Analytics (GA4), and XML sitemaps to monitor site performance and traffic.
  • Design engaging graphics and banners that captivate users.
  • Collaborate with client-servicing teams to scope, clarify, and implement site updates independently.

Requirements:

  • Deep understanding of HTML5, Bootstrap PHP, JavaScript, jQuery, WordPress Themes, and CSS.
  • Experience in WordPress plugin development or customization is essential.
  • Proficiency in building WordPress sites that adhere to Google best practices and Web Accessibility standards without relying on plugins.
  • Familiarity with Adobe XD design software and ability to convert complex designs into WordPress templates manually.
  • Excellent knowledge in photo editing and graphic design.
  • Familiarity with Google Search Essentials (formerly known as Webmaster Guidelines).

Work Environment:

  • Must work 40 hours per standard week, Monday to Friday, with two segments of 8 hours each.
  • No weekend work allowed.
  • A high-speed and stable internet connection is sufficient for remote video meetings via Zoom.
