Handyman Role Overview

This is an exciting opportunity to join our maintenance team as a skilled Handyman. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our facilities by performing routine maintenance and repair tasks.

The successful candidate will possess excellent problem-solving skills, with a strong attention to detail and the ability to work independently.

  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on buildings, equipment, and appliances
  • Troubleshoot and diagnose issues with plumbing, electrical, HVAC systems
  • Install and assemble furniture, fixtures, and equipment as needed
  • Conduct regular inspections to identify potential problems and address them in a timely manner
  • Coordinate with contractors for major repairs or installations
  • Maintain inventory of tools and supplies needed for maintenance work
  • Adhere to safety standards and regulations at all times
Requirements

To be considered for this position, you must have:

  • Proven experience as a Handyman or similar role
  • Strong knowledge of general maintenance tasks including plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and painting
  • Ability to use hand and power tools safely and effectively
  • Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail
  • Good communication skills in English (Urdu/Hindi would be a plus)
  • Physical stamina to handle physically demanding tasks
