About the Role

Transforming education through innovative approaches is a key focus for our organization. To achieve this goal, we require an accomplished finance professional to oversee all financial aspects of our smart schools project.

This role involves ensuring accurate financial planning, budgeting, and reporting, while guaranteeing compliance with local laws and donor requirements.

  • Develop and manage comprehensive financial plans to guide the smart schools initiative.
  • Oversee accounting processes, cash flow management, and financial reporting to ensure transparency and accuracy.
  • Evaluate financial activities to ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards.
Key Responsibilities
  1. Collaborate closely with fundraising teams to track grant funds, prepare detailed financial reports for donors, and manage financial aspects of fundraising campaigns.
  2. Design and maintain sophisticated financial models to forecast and plan for the organization's financial future.
  3. Contribute to the annual audit process and ensure that financial records are maintained according to best practices.
  4. Monitor project expenditures, identify variances, and work with the operations team to maintain budget discipline.

To be successful in this position, you will have a Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field and 4-5 years of experience in financial management.

You will possess strong knowledge of financial planning, budgeting, and accounting principles, as well as proficiency in accounting software and financial reporting tools.
