VAT Compliance Specialist Position
About the RoleOur firm seeks a highly skilled VAT compliance specialist to perform day-to-day bookkeeping, bank reconciliations, and financial reporting for clients in Dubai.
Key Responsibilities:- Prepare and file VAT returns as per UAE regulations.
- Assist in corporate tax compliance, including tax calculations, returns, and advisory for UAE clients.
- Maintain and update financial records in Zoho Books, Xero, or QuickBooks.
- Reconcile accounts and ensure compliance with UAE tax laws and financial regulations.
- Prepare monthly and quarterly financial statements for client review.
- Handle client queries related to accounting, VAT, and tax matters.
- Proven experience in accounting, tax compliance, or bookkeeping.
- Strong knowledge of UAE VAT laws, corporate tax regulations, and IFRS accounting principles.
- Proficiency in accounting software such as Zoho Books, QuickBooks, or Xero.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to work remotely while maintaining high productivity and meeting deadlines.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- CA Inter + Articles completed is preferred.
- Minimum 3+ years of experience in accounting, VAT, and corporate tax compliance.
