Job Title: Audit Manager

The role of an Audit Manager involves planning, executing, and reporting on operational, financial, regulatory audits/reviews. This includes providing advice on internal control to management, including risk management techniques.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Plan and execute reviews/audits for financial, regulatory, compliance, or operational purposes.
  2. Coordinate work with Risk, Legal, and other control-related activities, as well as collaborate with Internal Audit colleagues.
  3. Conduct risk assessments and identify existing controls to mitigate identified risks.
  4. Perform audit procedures to verify that controls are operating effectively through testing and interviewing techniques.
  5. Analyze and conclude the effectiveness and efficiency of the control environment.
  6. Identify control gaps and opportunities for improvement.
  7. Draft reports on audit findings in accordance with audit department and Institute of Internal Auditors standards.
  8. Deliver timely audit reports to executive management, the Audit Committee, and the Board of Directors.
  9. Evaluate and promote compliance with internal policies.
  10. Advise on internal control and contribute to enhancing internal audit standards and practices.
Required Skills and Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  1. Excellent understanding of IIA standards and ability to adhere to them fully.
  2. Ability to manage projects and supervise auditors to ensure sound internal control practices and effective risk management.
  3. Adaptability and ability to meet deadlines, juggle multiple demands, and work effectively with various individuals up to the CEO level.
  4. Strong skills in negotiation, relationship building, problem-solving, and timely issue escalation.
  5. Exceptional written and oral communication skills.
  6. Effective time management and organizational skills.
  7. Able to focus on details while grasping the bigger picture.
  8. Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), Outlook, and Visio, with experience in ERP and SAP software preferred.
