Responsibilities

Maintain record of maintenance activities of all equipment and assist engineer to maintain inventory of assets and material related to power plant and outreach generators.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for effective & efficient maintenance of off-site facilities diesel & petrol gensets of various capacities.
  • Troubleshooting and rectification of electrical & controls fault of the gas & diesel gensets.
  • Troubleshooting and rectification of ATS Panels at offsite locations.
  • Troubleshooting and rectification of MV VCB Panels, ATS panels and LV switchgear.
  • Participate in testing commissioning activities of new gensets being installed within hospital or offsite buildings.
  • Assist in purchasing of spare parts through petty cash under emergency conditions.
  • Perform operational shift duties as & when required by superiors.
  • Perform work under approved safety standards of Power Plant by using appropriate safety equipment.
  • Reporting all hazards & abnormalities to superiors as and when noticed.
  • Carry out any other job as assigned by supervisors.
Requirements

DAE in Electrical/ B-Tech Electrical preferred from a Govt. recognized institute.

Government wireman license preferably supervisor License.

Should have practical experience of at least 5 years as an electrician in any large-scale industry.

Solid knowledge of electrical systems, including Gas, Diesel and Petrol Generators.

Solid understanding of electrical distribution systems and control wiring diagrams.

Strong leadership and team management skills.

Problem-solving and decision-making abilities.

Effective communication and reporting skills.

Ability to handle emergencies and high-pressure situations.
