Video Editing Specialist

The role of a Video Editor is to craft captivating and engaging motion visuals for various projects. This involves collaborating with the creative team to develop compelling visual concepts, transforming them into dynamic animations and motion graphics.

In this position, you will be responsible for creating original motion graphics, animations, and visual effects for different platforms and projects. You will also develop storyboards and conceptualize ideas to communicate design concepts effectively.

  1. Motion Graphics Design:
    • Create and design original motion graphics, animations, and visual effects for various platforms and projects.
    • Develop storyboards and conceptualize ideas to communicate design concepts effectively.
  2. Animation and Video Editing:
    • Animate graphic elements, text, images, and video footage to produce seamless and visually appealing motion visuals.
    • Edit and manipulate video content to enhance its impact and integrate motion graphics seamlessly.
  3. Visual Concept Development:
    • Collaborate with the creative team to develop visual concepts and ideas that align with project objectives and client requirements.
    • Provide input and suggestions to enhance the overall visual storytelling.
  4. Technical Expertise:
    • Utilize industry-standard motion graphic software such as Adobe After Effects and Premiere Pro to create high-quality animations and videos.
    • Stay updated with the latest motion graphic techniques, tools, and technologies.
  5. Brand Consistency:
    • Ensure that motion graphics and animations align with brand guidelines and maintain brand consistency across projects.
  6. Collaboration and Feedback:
    • Work closely with designers and other team members to integrate motion graphics seamlessly into video projects.
    • Provide and receive feedback to improve the quality and impact of motion graphics.
  7. Deadline Management:
    • Manage time effectively to meet project deadlines and deliver high-quality motion graphics within specified timelines.
  8. Quality Control:
    • Review and ensure the accuracy, consistency, and quality of motion graphics and animations before final delivery.

Required skills and qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Animation, Graphic Design, Film, or a related field. A Master's degree is a plus.
  • Proven experience of 2-4 years as a Motion Graphic Artist, Animator, or similar role in a creative environment.
  • A strong portfolio showcasing your work.
