Cloud Architect Role Overview

CONVO is seeking a talented Cloud Architect to spearhead the design and implementation of integration points and data architecture between cloud-native solutions and clients' enterprise environments.

Leveraging expertise in Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud Platform, and Amazon Web Services, along with a strong familiarity with business and data, you will architect solutions that meet stringent performance and scalability requirements and harmonize with existing IT ecosystems.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Design highly available, fault-tolerant, and scalable cloud solutions integrations that meet business requirements and align with best practices.
  2. Experience with multi-cloud or hybrid cloud solutions to leverage strengths of different cloud providers while ensuring interoperability and security.
  3. In-depth understanding of data lake architecture principles and best practices, including data ingestion, storage, processing, and analytics.
  4. Hands-on experience with data warehouse design patterns and methodologies, such as star schema, snowflake schema, and data vault.
  5. Expertise in designing and implementing ETL processes to extract data from various sources, transform it into a usable format, and load it into target systems.
  6. Familiarity with data analytics and business intelligence tools for querying, visualization, and reporting.
  7. Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, stakeholders, and external vendors.
  8. Demonstrated commitment to continuous learning and staying updated with the latest advancements in cloud technologies and industry trends.

Requirements include Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, with a minimum of 8 years of experience in software architecture, at least 3 years focused on cloud infrastructure.
