We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Technical Sales Representative to drive sales growth by promoting and selling SOC solutions. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of cybersecurity principles, SOC operations, and security technologies.

About the Role

  • Identify and qualify leads for SOC solutions through proactive prospecting, networking, and lead generation activities.
  • Conduct thorough needs assessments and technical evaluations of prospective clients to understand their cybersecurity requirements and challenges.
  • Educate clients on the features, capabilities, and benefits of our SOC solutions tailored to their specific needs and objectives.
  • Develop and deliver compelling sales presentations, proposals, and demonstrations to showcase the value proposition of our SOC services.
  • Closely collaborate with the sales team, SOC engineers, and other stakeholders to develop customized solutions and proposals that meet client needs.
  • Manage the sales process from lead generation to closure, including contract negotiation, pricing discussions, and contract finalization.
  • Builtin strong relationships with clients ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and retention.
  • Stay informed about industry trends, competitive offerings, and emerging technologies in the cybersecurity and SOC space.
  • Achieve sales targets and objectives as outlined by our sales management.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
  • Proven track record of success in technical sales preferably in the cybersecurity or IT services industry.
  • Strong understanding of cybersecurity principles, SOC operations, and security technologies.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
  • Demonstrated ability to build and maintain relationships with clients and key stakeholders.
  • Self-motivated with a results-driven approach and a sense of urgency to meet sales targets.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a collaborative team environment.
  • Willingness to travel as needed to meet with clients and attend industry events.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous experience working in a SOC environment or familiarity with SOC operations.
  • Technical certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CEH, or similar.
  • Experience with CRM software e.g., Salesforce for managing sales pipelines and activities.
  • Knowledge of regulatory compliance requirements such as GDPR, HIPAA, PCI-DSS etc.
