The ideal candidate for this position will have a strong background in laboratory procedures and a keen eye for detail. As a Technologist, you will be responsible for conducting chemical analysis of body fluids, including blood, urine, and CSF. This involves ensuring the accuracy of results, maintaining instruments in the Bio-chemistry Lab, and performing quality control checks.

Responsibilities and Expectations
  • Conducting chemical analysis of body fluids, including blood, urine, and CSF
  • Ensuring the accuracy of results
  • Maintaining instruments in the Bio-chemistry Lab
  • Performing quality control checks
  • Informing abnormal results to respective doctors/consultants
  • Properly storing samples of abnormal results
  • Following infection control and ISO instructions
  • Instructing and training juniors/trainees
  • Issuing reports
  • Rejecting tests/samples if required based on SOP criteria
  • Repeating tests if necessary
  • Managing daily inventory consumption
Qualifications and Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Associate's or bachelor's degree in a related field preferred
  • 1-2 years of experience in laboratory procedures
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Detailed-oriented
