Job Description
Masters in Applied Chemistry or a related field is required for this role. We are seeking an experienced and skilled Senior Laboratory Operations Manager to oversee the smooth operations of our laboratory department.

Main Responsibilities
  • Develop new lab collection centers on different venues while leading lab expansion projects.
  • Ensure preventive and corrective maintenance of equipment at collection points and Stat labs.
  • Responsible for shifts at various branches, assisting HR with recruiting when necessary.
  • Formulate and implement short and long-term goals for lab operations; project future needs and formulate strategies consistent with projections.
  • Respond to customer queries and provide support to lab staff at collection centers.
  • Oversee budgeting, reporting, planning, and auditing, ensuring compliance with laws and regulations.
  • Develop policies, protocols, and procedures, controlling budgets for security operations and monitoring expenses.
  • Attend meetings with other managers to determine operational lab needs, manage daily activities of the Housekeeping department, and ensure client satisfaction.
  • Supervise staff to deliver high standards of customer service, prepare schedules and timesheets for subordinates, and maintain inventory records.
  • Ensure Quality Assurance and perform any additional tasks assigned by management.


Required Qualifications & Skills
  • Masters in Applied Chemistry from a recognized university.
  • Bachelor's degree in business administration or equivalent preferred.
  • 3-5 years of experience in a managerial capacity at chain of Labs/Hospital Labs.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, strong time-management, staff management, and organizational skills.
  • Self-driven and motivated to increase efficiency and performance.
  • In-depth knowledge of lab operations and dos and don'ts.
  • Exceptional communication skills in advising customers and managing employees.
  • Competency in IT skills and lab management software system.
