Automation Director

In this pivotal role, you will lead the development and execution of automation strategies that drive operational efficiency and optimize workflows across multiple domains. This exciting opportunity offers a chance to redefine how technology is leveraged to enhance content production, delivery, and customer experiences.

As an Automation Director, you will be responsible for designing and implementing comprehensive automation plans that align with business goals. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to identify automation opportunities, establish frameworks and best practices, and develop roadmaps for implementing automation technologies.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and implement a comprehensive automation strategy that aligns with company goals.
  • Identify automation opportunities across multiple functions, including content creation, distribution, customer experience, and operational workflows.
  • Establish automation frameworks and best practices to ensure scalability, sustainability, and alignment with business needs.
  • Lead the development and execution of roadmaps for implementing automation technologies across the organization.

Requirements:
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Business, or a related technical field from a recognized institution.
  • 12+ years of experience in automation, with a proven track record of leading large-scale automation initiatives in a technology-driven environment.
  • Extensive experience in automation technologies, including Robotic Process Automation (RPA), Intelligent Process Automation (IPA), workflow automation, and cloud-based automation platforms.
  • Strong understanding of AI, machine learning, and how automation can be integrated with AI-driven solutions for enhanced business performance.
  • At least 8+ years of leadership experience, managing cross-functional teams, and driving successful automation projects.

Preferred Skills:
  • Proficiency in automation platforms such as UiPath, Automation Anywhere, Blue Prism, and similar technologies.
  • Strong knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and their role in automation.
  • Experience with scripting and automation development using languages like Python, JavaScript, PowerShell, or Shell scripting.
  • Deep understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC), Agile methodologies, and DevOps practices.
  • Familiarity with AI/ML technologies and how they intersect with automation to create intelligent, self-optimizing systems.

This role requires strong leadership, team-building, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels. Exceptional project management skills are also required, with experience in overseeing end-to-end automation projects, ensuring timely and on-budget delivery.
