Poultry Farm Manager

Ghana Poultry Farm is seeking a highly experienced and skilled manager to assist in setting up and managing a new broiler poultry farm. The farm will have an initial capacity of 2000-3000 birds per flock, with the potential to expand to 10,000 birds per flock.
Key Responsibilities:- Assist in designing and implementing a cost-effective setup for the poultry shed, utilizing the latest equipment available.
- Develop strategies to upgrade the farm's capacity at regular intervals, ensuring optimal performance and efficiency.
- Oversee the daily operations of the broiler farm, including managing bird health, feeding, and environmental conditions.
- Establish effective marketing programs to promote the farm's products.
The ideal candidate will have relevant education in DVM or BSc in Poultry Science, along with 3-5 years of experience in successfully managing poultry farms. Knowledge of the latest farm equipment, vaccination methods, and common marketing techniques is also essential.
