Enterprise Risk Management Professional

Risk management is a vital component of our professional services environment, ensuring the successful delivery of client services and promotion of our brand. As a Risk Analyst within Ernst & Young (EY), you will promote and support risk management across the business, upholding our standards and maintaining the value of the firm. Your role will involve ensuring compliance with external regulations and EY Global policies, particularly in relation to financial crime and data protection.
Your Key Responsibilities
As a key member of the Central Risk Management team, you will perform review of documents in the risk management tool (GEAR) with enhanced due diligence for potential deviations from EY policy and guidance. Your responsibilities include:
- Performing risk-based document review and compliance according to EY policy and procedure.
- Collaborating with the risk management team and business to discuss formal and informal environments in support of 100% compliance with EY policy and procedure.
- Encouraging and educating client-facing staff and the wider team to adhere to EY MENA/Global policy and guidance issued.
- Taking an interest in the current documents review process, suggesting improvements in the review and maintenance of Engagement Agreement/SOW/MSA or related documents.
- Assisting other team members and fiancé/Local and Statutory compliance team in performing their roles.

You will require good communication skills capable of dealing with a wide range of staff, including Partners. You should be able to establish and maintain confidentiality and credibility at all levels. A strong team player with proven ability to work with others is essential. Additionally, you should be able to solve problems creatively and effectively, as well as work well under pressure and to tight deadlines in a demanding environment.
Qualifications and Experience
To qualify for this role, you must have previous experience working in a similar field in a sophisticated business environment, particularly in relation to enhanced review and due diligence. You should also have a high degree of competency in verifying different client types using publicly available resources and subscription services. Previous experience working with wider teams is also required. Education to degree/master's degree is mandatory.
