Shopify Developer Job Description

BrainX Technologies is looking for a Full-Time Shopify Developer/Designer to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Shopify development, including building custom themes, apps, and extensions from scratch, as well as enhancing and optimizing existing solutions. The role requires both technical depth and creative problem-solving to deliver exceptional e-commerce experiences.

  • Design, develop, and maintain custom Shopify themes and modify existing templates to meet business requirements.
  • Develop and optimize Shopify public and private apps, integrating with REST & GraphQL APIs.
  • Build and deploy Shopify Functions & Extensions for customized store logic and enhanced functionality.
  • Work on backend and full-stack app development using various frameworks.
  • Act as a Shopify expert across all facets of the platform, including Shopify Plus.
  • Implement and customize Shopify themes with strong knowledge of the Liquid templating language.
  • Collaborate with design and product teams to optimize landing pages, product detail pages (PDPs), and checkout flows for conversion.
  • Conduct thorough testing, debugging, and troubleshooting to ensure scalable and reliable solutions.
  • Stay updated with Shopify ecosystem updates, emerging tools, and industry best practices.
