About the Job:

This is an exciting opportunity to join EMPIRE GROUP, a leading translation and interpretation company in the UK, as a full-time Mobile Application Developer. We are looking for a skilled developer who can work on both Android and iOS platforms.

Job Description:

We require a highly motivated and experienced Mobile Application Developer who can ensure the best possible performance, quality, and responsiveness of mobile applications. The ideal candidate will have experience with Android SDK, Java, NDK, and Kotlin, as well as API integration with Retrofit.

Responsibilities:

  1. Performance Optimization: Ensure that mobile applications run smoothly and efficiently.
  2. Android and iOS Development: Develop high-quality mobile applications using Android and iOS frameworks.
  3. API Integration: Integrate APIs with Retrofit to enhance application functionality.
  4. VOIP Applications: Develop VOIP applications with previous experience in this area.
  5. Firebase Products: Worked in Firebase products like authentication, real-time database, and storage.
  6. iOS App Development: Design, develop, code, test, and release iOS apps in alignment with business goals.
  7. Project Management: Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  8. Code Quality: Improve code quality through writing unit tests, automation, and performing code reviews.
  9. UX/UI Design: Understand UX and UI design principles to effectively translate end-user requirements into technical solutions.
  10. iOS Frameworks: Deep understanding of Objective-C or Swift and native iOS development frameworks (API, testing, deployment, etc.).
  11. A gile Development: Comprehensive understanding of Agile development methodologies.

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you must have:

  • Education: A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or Software Engineering.
  • Experience: At least 3-5 years of experience as a developer on both Android and iOS platforms.
  • Publishing Apps: Sufficient knowledge of publishing apps on both platforms.
  • VOIP Applications: Prior experience of developing VOIP applications on either platform.
  • Leadership Skills: Ability to manage projects and lead a team from the front.
  • Problem-Solving Skills: Excellent problem-solving skills (To-do attitude).
  • Communication Skills: Good verbal and written communication skills.

Work Details:

We offer a full-time position with a regular working schedule. The work location is DHA Sector F Rawalpindi.
