Senior Web Development Role

We are seeking an experienced and skilled lead web developer to oversee the development and technical management of our websites.

The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of experience in web development, with a strong proficiency in WordPress/PHP, WooCommerce, Codeigniter, BigCommerce, OpenCart, CSS/HTML/Responsive (Bootstrap) Development, JavaScript/JQuery, Buddy Press, Custom Theme Development, Custom Plugin, API development, eCommerce Development, WordPress development including theme and individual template development, plugin tweaks, new feature development, extending, managing, improvements to and debugging of legacy code, setup of WordPress options, plugin installation and configuration, PHP and HTML development outside of WordPress for landing pages, microsites, etc., and development within a multiple server configuration including development, staging and production servers.

The successful candidate will also possess expert knowledge of WordPress, strong PHP development skills, HTML, HTML5, JavaScript, JQuery, and CSS skills, good working experience in MySQL including the use of efficient SQL commands, strong experience building HTML/CSS across major browsers, experience with XML, strong written and verbal communication in English, strong organizational skills, structured thinking and development methodology, detail-oriented, and ability to work quickly and patiently as part of a small team.

Bonus points will be given to candidates who have experience with Magento, Yii, Laravel, or Symfony.
