Key responsibilities for the CCTV Operator/Surveillance Operator position include monitoring and operating CCTV cameras and other surveillance equipment, observing and reporting suspicious activities, maintaining and controlling video equipment, and ensuring compliance with security protocols and procedures.

The individual will work closely with the security team to provide a secure and safe environment. Key tasks include:

  • Operating CCTV systems and surveillance equipment
  • Maintaining and controlling video equipment
  • Observing and reporting suspicious activities

To be successful in this role, you should have experience in operating CCTV systems and surveillance equipment, knowledge of security protocols and procedures, attention to detail, strong observational skills, excellent communication and report-writing skills, ability to work independently and as part of a team, flexibility to work in shifts, including nights and weekends, and a high school diploma or equivalent. Additional security training or certification is also beneficial.
