Store Operations Manager

As a Store Operations Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our store. This includes ensuring that all sales and floor presentation are at their best.
Main Responsibilities:
- Provide leadership to the sales team and plan training sessions to enhance their skills.
- Stay updated on new product information and communicate it to staff members.
- Ensure that all staff are aware of company policies and procedures.
- Supervise holidays, days off, and breaks to ensure sufficient floor coverage.
- Liaise with other managers to ensure adequate managerial cover.
- Develop the Deputy Floor Manager to run the floor in your absence.
Stock Management:
- Maintain accurate stock records, including universal orders and special orders.
- Monitor purchase orders and chase outstanding deliveries.
- Check the quality of goods supplied and ensure correct ticketing information.
- Practice good housekeeping and present stock in an appealing manner.
- Regularly review layaway reports and record stock adjustments.
Security:
- Assume responsibility for tills, stock, health and safety, and staff security.
Requirements
The ideal candidate should be able to operate necessary equipment, communicate effectively with colleagues and customers, and accurately complete documentation. They should also be able to stand for extended periods, lift boxes, and perform various tasks as required. The ability to work varied hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays, is essential.
