Responsibilities:

  • Technical Troubleshooting: Identify and resolve technical issues with Electrical & Instrument systems, focusing on power generation and Hybrid Grids.
  • Solution Development: Develop and implement effective solutions to complex problems, ensuring plant sustainability and minimizing downtime.
  • Equipment Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance and repairs on plant equipment, adhering to OEM guidelines.
  • System Operation: Oversee the operation and maintenance of STGs, boiler auxiliaries, MV/LV motors, drives, fire alarm systems, and emergency backup systems.
  • Compliance and Audit: Conduct area audits and implement safety and installation improvement plans to ensure regulatory compliance.
  • Grid Expertise: Possess extensive knowledge of 132KV GIS grid and 13.8KV/6.6KV substation relays, as well as experience with Gantry, GIS, and AIS substations.
  • Steam Turbine Generators: Manage and maintain GE Multilin G60/G30 UR Platform, generator control Basler Electric AVR DECS250, and ABB/Hyundai variable frequency drives.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering (additional certifications a plus)
  • At least 8 years of relevant experience in power plants, oil & gas, and fertilizer plants
  • Experience working with regulatory bodies like NEPRA and utility companies like NTDC and KE a plus
  • SAP ECC experience, especially in PM and MM Modules a bonus

Fpcl is a pioneering power plant in Pakistan's power industry, completed on a Non-EPC basis and managed entirely by FPCL's team. We uniquely generate power at both 50 Hz and 60 Hz frequencies.
