Job Overview:

  • We are seeking a highly skilled Power Planning Assistant Manager to join our team.

About the Role:

The successful candidate will be responsible for leading power system planning and budgeting for new sites, expansions, and operational sites. This includes technical evaluation of power systems requirements, budgeting and cost estimation, and procurement management.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Power System Planning:
    • Detailed analysis of power systems requirements in our network.
    • Development of detailed technical and budget plans for power systems required for new sites, expansions, and operational sites.
  • Budgeting and Cost Estimation:
    • Budgeting and CAPEX evaluation for Cell Sites Power Domain.
    • Cost estimation and analysis of power systems upgrades and replacements.
  • Procurement Management:
    • Preparation and management of RFPs for power system procurements.
    • Technical evaluation and contracting of Rectifier Systems, Battery Banks, Cabinets, Solar & other Energy / Power Systems.
  • Project Support:
    • Support to project teams in power system design, deployment, and maintenance.
    • Collaboration with network deployment and construction teams to prioritize deployments and assign resources.
  • Database Management:
    • Maintenance of power systems database, network availability databases, and PR/PO & delivery trackers.

Eligibility Criteria:

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Telecommunication or Power Engineering from a reputable institution.
  • A minimum of 5+ years of relevant work experience.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, strong leadership abilities, and effective communication skills.
  • In-depth knowledge of power products related to telecom, including renewable energies, BTS power systems planning & operation/maintenance, and cell sites power planning principles.
