Senior Financial Analyst

About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Financial Analyst to join our team on a remote, full-time basis. The ideal candidate will have advanced Excel skills, experience with financial analysis tools such as Data Rails, QuickBooks Online (QBO), and a deep understanding of financial reporting, data management, and forecasting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Financial Analysis: Provide in-depth analysis of financial data, trends, and key performance indicators (KPIs) to help guide strategic decision-making.
  • Reporting: Prepare, review, and present accurate and timely financial reports for management, ensuring all data is well-organized and actionable.
  • Excel Expertise: Utilize advanced Excel functions (e.g., VLOOKUP, pivot tables, macros, and complex formulas) to manipulate large datasets, create models, and support financial reporting.
  • Data Management: Use Data Rails to consolidate financial data, automate reporting, and enhance data accuracy. Maintain data integrity across multiple financial platforms.
  • QuickBooks Online (QBO): Manage financial transactions, reconciliations, and monthly close processes within QuickBooks Online, ensuring accurate records and compliance with company standards.
  • Forecasting & Budgeting: Assist with the development of financial forecasts, budgets, and long-term financial strategies based on business performance and trends.
  • Process Optimization: Identify and implement improvements to streamline financial processes, reporting workflows, and data management practices.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including accounting, operations, and executive management, to ensure financial insights align with overall business goals.
  • Problem-Solving: Analyze financial discrepancies, identify root causes, and provide actionable recommendations to resolve issues.
