Revenue Assurance Specialist

The role of a Revenue Assurance Specialist is crucial in ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of customer invoicing. This involves collecting and reconciling data from various departments, managing customer approvals, and tracking payments.
Key Responsibilities- Gather and compile necessary data for invoicing, including bills, hours worked, grid categorization, breaches, and additional assets on towers, from departments such as Sales & Marketing, and Engineering & Operations.
- Prepare financial reconciliations using technical data and share with customers for approval of invoice submission, monitor and follow up with customers for timely invoice approvals, and maintain records of all payments.
- Collaborate with relevant stakeholders to ensure timely completion of reconciliation processes.
- Generate invoices and upload them to customer portals, such as COUPA, ERP, or I-Supplier (Oracle Financials).
- Track and update the status of all invoices raised to customers on a monthly basis and collect cash within due credit terms locked with customers.
- Work with the Rapid/Revenue Booking team to ensure timely monthly financial closure.
- Prepare monthly accruals and ensure accurate financial reporting.
- Internal: Departments i.e., Sales & Marketing, and Engineering & Operations; upstream departments such as Operations team, Internal auditors.
- External: External auditors, Regulators, Financial Institutions.
- A robust finance background with a recognized accounting qualification, such as ACCA or MBA Finance.
- Proficiency in specialized reporting skills, such as Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
- Extensive professional experience spanning 2-3 years.
