
Technical Support Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Technical Support Specialist to provide technical support to end-users and ensure the smooth operation of IT systems and infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities- Technical Support:
- Provide first and second-level technical support to end-users via phone, in-person, or remotely.
- Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and network issues promptly.
- Collaborate with team members to escalate complex issues and follow through to resolution.
- Hardware and Software Maintenance:
- Install, configure, and maintain desktops, laptops, printers, and other hardware peripherals.
- Manage software installations, updates, and patches to ensure all systems are up-to-date and secure.
- Conduct regular system audits to identify potential issues and implement preventive measures.
- User Account Management:
- Create and manage user accounts, permissions, and access rights.
- Assist in onboarding/offboarding processes, including setting up new user accounts and decommissioning old ones.
- Network Support:
- Assist with network configuration, troubleshooting, and maintenance.
- Work closely with the network team to ensure a secure and efficient network environment.
- Documentation and Training:
- Create and update documentation for IT processes, procedures, and issue resolutions.
- Provide training to end-users on IT-related topics and best practices.
- Customer Service:
- Deliver excellent customer service by responding to and resolving IT issues in a timely manner.
- Communicate effectively with end-users to understand and address their needs.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- Proven experience in a similar role, preferably in an enterprise IT environment.
- Strong knowledge of Windows and MacOS operating systems.
- Familiarity with networking protocols, hardware, and troubleshooting techniques.
- Experience with Active Directory, Office 365, and other IT management tools.
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
