Finance Operations Specialist

About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Finance Operations Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our finance department, you will play a crucial role in supporting the preparation and analysis of financial statements, ensuring timely reconciliations, and maintaining accurate financial records.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Financial Statement Preparation: Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Financial Analysis: Analyze financial data, variances, and trends to support strategic decision-making and identify areas for improvement.
  • Reconciliation and Record-Keeping: Ensure timely reconciliation of bank accounts, vendor statements, and internal ledgers, maintaining accurate and up-to-date financial records.
  • Budgeting and Monitoring: Collaborate with departments to prepare annual budgets and monitor budget utilization, ensuring effective use of resources.
  • Accounts Payable and Receivable: Supervise accounts payable processes, including invoice verification, payment processing, and vendor communication, as well as monitor accounts receivable, including student fee collection, aging analysis, and follow-ups.
Requirements and Qualifications:
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field.
  • Experience: Minimum 3 years of experience in finance operations or accounting.
  • Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, excellent attention to detail, and ability to work effectively in a team environment.
