We are seeking a skilled Mechatronics Engineer to optimize production processes, ensure equipment reliability, and enhance operational efficiency in our Calcium Carbonate Plant.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining integrated mechanical, electronic, and control systems.

This role involves system design and integration, maintenance and troubleshooting, automation and control, documentation and compliance, project management, and training and support.

The successful candidate will have a strong knowledge of mechanical systems, electronics, and control theory, as well as proficiency in programming languages such as Ladder Logic, Python, or similar.

Familiarity with CAD software and simulation tools is also required, along with excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and effective communication and teamwork abilities.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Developing and implementing mechatronic systems to enhance production efficiency
  • Designing control systems for machinery and automated processes within the plant
  • Conducting regular inspections and maintenance of mechatronic systems and equipment
  • Diagnosing and resolving technical issues related to mechanical, electronic, and control systems
  • Programming and configuring PLCs, SCADA systems, and HMI interfaces
  • Implementing automation solutions to streamline processes and reduce downtime

The selected candidate will work closely with the production, maintenance, and engineering teams to optimize operations.

Maintenance of accurate records of system designs, modifications, and maintenance activities is also essential.

Additionally, the successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring compliance with safety regulations and industry standards.

To succeed in this role, you should have:

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechatronics, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field
  • 2+ years of experience in mechatronics or automation within an industrial setting, preferably in manufacturing or processing environments

You should be able to work in varying temperatures and conditions, and occasionally travel to supplier sites or training workshops.
