The Role of a Visual Content Creator involves the production and editing of video content, photography, and visual documentation for school activities, events, and impact stories. This encompasses capturing and editing high-quality videos for social media, donor communications, and events. It also includes creating engaging photographs of classrooms, events, and community programs using mobile devices, while prioritizing dignity, authenticity, and storytelling in visuals.

Responsibilities include:

  1. Video Editing & Production: Capturing and editing short and long videos with subtitles, sound, and basic animation.
  2. Capture and Edit High-Quality Videos: For social media, donor communications, and events.
  3. Photography: Taking compelling photos of classrooms, events, and community programs using mobile phones.
  4. Prioritize Dignity and Storytelling: In visuals, maintaining the authenticity and dignity of subjects.
  5. Organize and Maintain Visual Archives: Ensuring easy access to visual content.
  6. Graphic Design (Support): Designing social media posts, posters, flyers, and internal materials following brand guidelines.

The ideal candidate will possess strong video editing skills, a good eye for photography, and basic graphic design knowledge. They should have experience with mobile video and photography in real-time settings and proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro or similar tools.

A Bachelor's degree in Media Sciences, Communication, Design, or related field is required, along with 2–4 years of experience in video editing and content creation. The candidate must be able to work in a fast-paced environment with competing priorities and have an understanding of social media trends and digital storytelling.
