PHP / Laravel Developer Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and motivated PHP/Laravel developer to join our agile team of professionals.

This role is ideal for individuals who are passionate about technology, constantly seeking to learn and improve their skillset.

Main Responsibilities:
  1. Design, develop, record, and maintain cutting-edge web-based PHP applications on portal platforms.
  2. Collaborate with the User Experience (UX) team to build innovative, state-of-the-art applications.
  3. Prepare and maintain all applications utilizing standard development tools.
  4. Utilize backend data services and contribute to increasing existing data services API.
  5. Lead the entire web application development life cycle from concept stage to delivery and post-launch support.
  6. Communicate effectively with task progress, evaluations, suggestions, schedules, technical, and process issues.
  7. Document the development process, architecture, and standard components.
  8. Coordinate with co-developers and keep the project manager informed of the status of the development effort, serving as liaison between development staff and project manager.
  9. Stay up-to-date with new trends and best practices in web development.
Requirements:
  • Previous working experience as a PHP/Laravel developer.
  • BS/MS degree in Computer Science, Engineering, MIS, or similar relevant field.
  • In-depth knowledge of object-oriented PHP and Laravel 5 PHP Framework.
  • Hands-on experience with SQL schema design, SOLID principles, REST API design.
  • Software testing (PHPUnit, PHPSpec, Behat).
  • MySQL profiling and query optimization.
  • Creative and efficient problem solver.
Desired Skills:
  • AWS.
  • MySQL.
  • Recovery Time Objectives (RTO).
  • Google Cloud.
  • LDAP.
Job Details:

Full-time position available.

On-site presence required.

2-4 years of experience preferred.

Key Qualifications and Benefits

Bachelor's or master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, MIS, or related field.

Proficiency in object-oriented programming, especially PHP and Laravel framework.

Familiarity with SQL schema design, SOLID principles, and REST API design.

Experience with software testing frameworks such as PHPUnit, PHPSpec, and Behat.

Knowledge of database management systems, particularly MySQL.
