Job Title: Financial Operations Manager
Description:
We are seeking an experienced and skilled Financial Operations Manager to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing and presenting periodic financial and management reports to senior management and other stakeholders. You will also be responsible for preparing business activity reports, financial forecasts, and annual budgets.
Key Responsibilities:
- Reporting and Analysis: Prepare and present regular financial and management reports to senior management and other stakeholders. This includes analyzing financial data, identifying trends and areas for improvement, and making recommendations for action.
- Planning and Budgeting: Develop and implement financial planning and budgeting processes that align with the company's overall strategy. This includes preparing business activity reports, financial forecasts, and annual budgets.
- Internal Controls: Establish and maintain internal controls and guidelines for accounting transactions to ensure accuracy and compliance with laws and regulations.
- Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to improve financial processes and procedures, and implement changes to increase efficiency and effectiveness.
- Leadership: Provide leadership and guidance to junior staff members in the finance department, including training and development opportunities.
- Compliance: Ensure that all financial activities are compliant with laws and regulations, and maintain accurate records of financial transactions.
Skills and Qualifications:
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in finance and accounting, with experience in financial planning and analysis, budgeting, and reporting. They will also have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting
- Minimum 5 years' experience in financial planning and analysis
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
