We are seeking a skilled Digital Marketing Strategist to join our team and contribute to our mission of reducing the health impact of our industry.

About the Role:

As a Social Media Executive at The British American Tobacco Group, you will play a key role in developing and implementing social media content calendars, monitoring performance metrics, and driving brand awareness, engagement, and customer acquisition.

Responsibilities:
  • Social Media Management:
    • Manage day-to-day social media activities across multiple platforms (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, and YouTube).
    • Develop and implement social media content calendars that align with the brand's voice and target audience.
    • Monitor and respond to comments, messages, and inquiries across social media channels.
    • Stay up-to-date with social media trends, algorithm changes, and standard methodologies to optimize content and engagement strategies.
  • Social Media Campaigns:
    • Assist in planning, executing, and optimizing social media campaigns, including paid advertisements and organic promotions.
    • Collaborate with the marketing team to develop campaign strategies, set objectives, and allocate resources effectively.
    • Monitor campaign performance, analyze data, and make recommendations for campaign optimization.
    • Conduct A/B testing of ad creatives, messaging, and targeting to enhance campaign effectiveness.
  • Social Media Analytics and Reporting:
    • Use Meta Business Suite and Sprinklr to track and analyze key performance metrics.
    • Generate regular reports summarizing social media performance, trends, and insights.
    • Identify opportunities for improvement based on data analysis and provide recommendations for content and campaign optimization.
    • Monitor competitor social media activities and industry trends to stay informed and make proactive recommendations.
  • Collaborative Cross-Functional Partnerships:
    • Collaborate with the marketing, design, content, and customer support teams to ensure social media efforts align with overall marketing strategies and brand guidelines.
    • Contribute to integrated marketing campaigns and initiatives that demonstrate social media channels.
    • Work closely with the customer support team to address customer inquiries and concerns raised through social media platforms.

Requirements:

  • Experience in social media management, preferably in FMCG and E-commerce industries.
  • Track record of implementing successful social media campaigns and managing social media platforms effectively.
  • Proficiency in using social media management tools and analytics platforms.
  • Understanding of social media platforms, algorithms, trends, and standard methodologies.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a creative flair.
  • Analytical approach with the ability to interpret data and translate insights into actionable strategies.
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize, and meet deadlines.
