Job Opportunity: Research Assistant and PhD Studentship

The Department of Geography invites applications from enthusiastic and skilled candidates for the position of Research Assistant and PhD Studentship. This exciting opportunity is part of a HEC-funded project focused on Urban/Peri-Urban Agriculture in Urban Food Supply Chain Amidst Post Covid-19 Using the Ecosystem Service Approach, A Case Study of Lahore Pakistan.

Job Description

We are seeking highly motivated individuals to contribute to this research project as Research Assistants and PhD students. The selected candidates will be responsible for assisting in data collection, fieldwork, and analysis. They will also have the opportunity to work closely with the Principal Investigator and other team members to achieve the project's objectives.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • PhD students enrolled in the Department of Geography
  • Candidates with strong disciplinary knowledge, equipped with spatial and statistical techniques in the field of Geographical Research
Benefits
  • Monthly stipend: Rs. 40,000/- per month
  • Contract duration: 01 year extendable to 3 years
