Electrical Systems Engineer Position

This role involves the design, development, and testing of electrical systems and components. The successful candidate will work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver projects on time and within budget.

  1. Key Responsibilities:
  2. Develop electrical systems, components, and products based on project requirements and specifications.
  3. Create detailed electrical drawings, schematics, and layouts using CAD software.
  4. Analyze technical requirements and propose innovative solutions through feasibility studies and simulations.
  5. Collaborate with mechanical engineers to ensure smooth integration of electrical systems with mechanical designs.
  6. Evaluate the performance and efficiency of electrical systems through simulations and calculations.
  7. Select suitable components and materials based on performance, reliability, and cost considerations.
  8. Prepare technical documentation, including specifications, test procedures, and reports.
  9. Support prototype development, testing, and validation activities.
  10. Resolve electrical design issues during development and testing phases.

Essential Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field; Master's degree preferred.
  • Proven experience in electrical design, preferably in complex system or product development.
  • Proficiency in CAD software for schematic design and technical drawings (e.g., AutoCAD, Altium Designer).
  • Strong understanding of electrical engineering principles, including circuit analysis, power electronics, and electromagnetic theory.
  • Experience with simulation tools such as SPICE, MATLAB/Simulink, or PLECS.
  • Familiarity with industry standards and regulations related to electrical design (e.g., NEC, UL, IEC).
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Effective communication skills and ability to collaborate in a team environment.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize workload effectively.
  • Experience with PCB design and layout is a plus.
