Debt Collector

Responsibilities of this role include contacting customers via phone, email and letter to identify outstanding payments and collect debts.

• Customers are contacted for the purpose of tracing individuals who have skipped on their financial obligations using research techniques.
• Negotiations are conducted with customers regarding payment plans and settlements.
• Maintenance of accurate records and documentation is crucial in all customer interactions.

In order to be successful in this position you will need:

• Proven experience in collections or skip tracing preferably within call centers or customer service environments.
• Strong negotiation and conflict resolution skills enable effective communication.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities allow for dealing with difficult customers.
• Attention to detail is necessary in record-keeping to ensure accuracy.
