Job Title: Leading Governance, Risk Management and Compliance Professional

This is a senior-level role based in Islamabad.

About the Position:
  • The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the organization's governance framework aligns with industry best practices and regulatory requirements.
  • He/She will lead risk assessment initiatives to identify and mitigate potential threats to the organization's information security posture.
  • Develop and implement effective compliance strategies to ensure adherence to relevant laws and regulations.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or Cyber Security.
  • Masters in Cyber Security preferred.
  • At least 8 years of post-graduation experience in governance, risk management, and compliance roles.
  • Certification in ISO-27001, CISA, and CGEIT highly valued.
Key Skills:
  • In-depth knowledge of security frameworks such as ISO 27001, PCI DSS, NIST, and CIS Controls.
  • Excellent analytical skills to assess complex information security risks and develop effective solutions.
  • Strong communication skills for conveying information regarding security and compliance to various stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in risk assessment methodologies, risk identification, risk analysis, and mitigation strategies.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience managing SIEM systems and incident response teams.
  • Ability to generate regular security reports and conduct audits as per ISO requirements.
  • Familiarity with software development lifecycle (SDLC) integration and DevSecOps best practices.
