Global Supply Chain Coordinator

This role involves coordinating the movement of goods and materials into an organization.
The successful candidate will be responsible for developing strategic procurement plans, establishing relationships with suppliers, and negotiating contracts.
- Maintain communication with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of goods and services.
- Coordinate with banks and insurance companies to manage LCs and other financial transactions.
- Document negotiations with vendors and communicate with stakeholders.
- Review shipment status reports and update sales teams on upcoming inventory.
- Provide instructions for unloading consigned goods to warehouses.
- Arrange Electronic Import Forms (EIF) and manage final costing.
- Supervise import assistants to ensure tasks are completed on time.
- Collaborate with management to assess and improve processes and policies.
- Manage LC limit creation/renewal with banks.
- Prepare performance reports and suggest improvements to enhance profit margins.
- Work closely with senior department heads to benefit the organization.
- Perform assigned tasks by the CEO.
