Strategic Communications Specialist

The role of Advocacy & Communication Officer is a pivotal one within our organization.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and design communication, promotional, and visibility materials such as leaflets, brochures, policy briefs, etc.
- Conduct research on public health areas, document findings in briefs, papers, or reports for record and sharing.
- Prepare program/project-related documents/write-ups required by the organization from time to time.
- Thoroughly proofread and professionally edit all documents, reports, and publications developed by the organization.
- Actively contribute to the planning, development, and designing of all communication, promotional, and visibility materials.
- Create customized reports and analyses as needed.
- Represent the organization in advocacy working groups, meetings, workshops, seminars, training, and briefing sessions.
- Develop engaging presentations to showcase organizational activities effectively.
- Assist in the planning, implementation, coordination, monitoring, and reporting of program/project activities.
- Support management in operational matters as needed.
- Participate in regular internal and external program meetings.
- Perform other tasks assigned by management.
Requirements:
- Masters in a relevant field from a reputable national or international university.
- 2-3 years of experience in a similar capacity preferred.
- Exceptional writing and strong communication skills in English are essential.
- Proficiency in computer use, especially MS Office.
- Energetic, team-oriented, with a willingness to learn and develop professionally.
- Strong work ethics and values.
