Divisional Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled Divisional Manager Procurement to join our organization. This senior leadership role is responsible for overseeing the procurement function and driving strategic sourcing initiatives across the business.

The successful candidate will have a proven track record of managing complex procurement processes, developing and executing strategic sourcing plans, and building strong relationships with suppliers and stakeholders. They will be responsible for leading a team of procurement professionals, providing coaching and guidance to ensure that procurement activities meet established targets and standards.

• Create and maintain short-term and long-term procurement plans to ensure alignment with business objectives.
• Identify opportunities to reduce purchasing costs by improving buying patterns and supply channels, and capitalize on these opportunities through effective negotiation and contract management.
• Lead and direct a team of sourcing managers/buyers and other professionals to ensure that procurement activities meet established targets and standards.
• Utilize lean techniques and initiatives to create value across the supply chain through material design, optimization, and cost reduction.
• Work collaboratively with colleagues to communicate the financial impacts of lead times and provide insights into market price trends and supplier technology roadmaps.
• Foster a positive, diverse, and inclusive culture within the procurement team through education, communication, and initiatives.
• Coach and develop team members to achieve their full potential, creating learning and development plans to transfer knowledge and promote career growth.
