E-Commerce Strategist

We are seeking an experienced E-Commerce Strategist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of driving e-commerce growth through strategic planning, data analysis, and market insights.

• Develop and execute comprehensive e-commerce strategies for clients, aligned with their business objectives.
• Define clear e-commerce goals for client growth, focusing on increasing sales, improving user experience, and expanding market presence.

1. Oversee website and marketplace sales:
   • Provide strategic direction for clients' e-commerce websites, marketplaces (e.g., Amazon, eBay), and other sales platforms.
   • Drive e-commerce sales by optimising product listings, enhancing SEO, managing pricing strategies, and ensuring a smooth customer journey.
2. Team management and collaboration:
   • Lead and guide the team of virtual assistants assigned to e-commerce clients, ensuring they work collaboratively to meet the clients' goals.
   • Work closely with other departments (marketing, creative services, and operations) to ensure the successful delivery of e-commerce solutions.
3. Market and competitor analysis:
   • Monitor and analyse competitors' online strategies, emerging trends, and digital marketing techniques in the e-commerce sector.
   • Provide insights and recommendations on product performance, customer behaviour, and market trends to inform future strategies.
4. Client relationship and satisfaction:
   • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, providing consistent updates on project status, performance metrics, and recommendations for improvement.
   • Ensure the clients are fully satisfied with the strategic approach, meeting their KPIs and business objectives.
5. Performance monitoring and reporting:
   • Define key performance indicators (KPIs) for e-commerce clients and consistently track performance to ensure goals are met or exceeded.
   • Analyse and report on e-commerce performance, focusing on key metrics such as sales growth, customer acquisition, conversion rates, and ROI.
   • Present findings to clients and make data-driven decisions to enhance sales performance.
6. Innovation and continuous improvement:
   • Stay ahead of the curve on e-commerce trends, tools, and technologies, and continuously optimise strategies to meet client needs.
   • Drive innovation by recommending new strategies, testing new ideas, and ensuring continuous improvement in e-commerce offerings.

   • Manage resources efficiently to meet client goals.
8. Training and development:
   • Lead training sessions to ensure the e-commerce team is up-to-date with the latest tools, trends, and strategies.
   • Foster a culture of continuous learning, helping the team expand their expertise and drive better results for clients.
