IT Director

This role involves leading teams to drive key initiatives for digitization of business processes and promoting automation and efficiencies in the workplace.

The successful candidate will have experience in corporate banking products employing digital solutions to promote operational efficiency.

A brief on the requirements of the role would be as follows:

• Minimum 15 years of IT work experience in application development putting together and leading teams based onsite OR remotely
• Experience in transformation journey in a banking environment having led initiatives driving change through technology solutions for business problems
• Experience in similar senior role managing a suite of applications related to digitalization and data management in a global/regional corporate bank
• Experience building teams across locations by getting right personnel, coaching them and creating talent pool that can deploy solutions in different locations
• Exposed to data management initiatives which help derive insights from raw data
• Able to interact with senior stakeholders to present roadmap, plans and updates on different initiatives and get buy-in
• Must be hands-on to get into details of country/business specific variations to drive standardization of applications
• Technically competent to be able to review designing of solution liaising with internal teams and vendors
• Strong planning, organizational and time management skills
• Self-motivated, self-organizing and possess drive, ability to be hands-on and lead by example
• Experience in liaising with offshore teams, infrastructure teams and other personnel for implementation of solutions
