Senior Accountant Position Overview:

This Senior Accountant position involves leading and managing our financial operations, ensuring accuracy and driving financial strategy to support company growth. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounts receivable, accounts payable, budgeting, invoicing, forecasting, and bookkeeping, as well as hands-on experience with US taxes and accounting principles.

Responsibilities
  • Oversee and manage accounts receivable and accounts payable functions.
  • Reconcile accounts and resolve discrepancies.
  • Monitor cash flow and manage collections.
Financial Planning
  • Develop and manage budgets for various departments and projects.
  • Prepare financial forecasts and reports.
  • Analyze variances between budgeted and actual performance.
Compliance
  • Ensure adherence to accounting standards and regulations.
  • Prepare and file tax returns.
  • Provide guidance on tax planning and strategy.
Reporting
  • Prepare and present financial statements, reports, and analyses.
  • Ensure accurate and timely reporting of financial performance and key metrics.
  • Assist with audits.
Leadership
  • Lead and mentor the finance team.
  • Foster a collaborative and productive work environment.
Requirements
  • Bachelors degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as a Senior Accountant or similar role.
  • Hands-on experience with US tax regulations and accounting principles.
  • Strong analytical skills.
  • Proficiency in accounting software and financial management tools.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and handle multiple tasks.
