IT Infrastructure Manager Job

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced IT Infrastructure Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in IT infrastructure management, with a focus on delivery of operational support and maintenance of the environment.

The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and delivering infrastructure projects, changes and improvements. They will provide technical leadership in terms of the development of infrastructure strategies and plans, as well as mentoring other team members and acting as an escalation point for incidents and requests.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver operational support and maintenance of the IT infrastructure environment
  • Develop and deliver infrastructure projects, changes and improvements
  • Provide technical leadership in terms of infrastructure strategies and plans
  • Mentor other team members and act as an escalation point for incidents and requests

Requirements:

  • 5 years of experience in the same industry
  • Knowledge of core Microsoft technologies (Windows, AD, Printing), virtualisation technologies (e.g. VMware), NetApp storage solutions, FlexPod architecture, databases (e.g. Oracle, SQL), MS Exchange, Citrix, UNIX, and web technologies is highly desirable
  • Ability to work efficiently and effectively across diverse cultures and time-zones
