Android Software Engineer Position

We are looking for an experienced Android software engineer to design and develop high-quality mobile applications.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of architecture patterns, including Model-View-ViewModel (MVVM) and Model-View-Controller (MVC), as well as experience with Kotlin programming language.

Responsibilities include:

  • Designing and developing advanced Android applications using industry standards and best practices.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features that meet business requirements and user expectations.
  • Integrating with external data sources and APIs to enhance application functionality.
  • Writing comprehensive unit tests to ensure robustness, usability, and reliability of developed applications.
  • Fixing bugs and optimizing application performance to provide a seamless user experience.
  • Evaluating and implementing new technologies to enhance development efficiency and stay up-to-date with industry trends.

Requirements include:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • At least 1-year experience in developing Android software applications.
  • Published at least one original Android app that showcases technical skills and expertise.
  • Familiarity with Android Software Development Kit (SDK), RESTful APIs, JSON data formats, third-party libraries, and APIs.
  • Understanding of the mobile landscape, architectures, trends, and emerging technologies in the industry.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience working on applications involving geo-centric features.
