Financial Leadership Role

About the Position

This role oversees the financial performance of an organization, ensuring its ongoing viability. Responsibilities include monitoring cash flow, determining profitability, managing expenses, and producing accurate financial information.

Key Accountabilities
  • Develop and implement a strategic business plan aligned with organizational goals.
  • Prepare periodic, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports for management.
  • Review and analyze financial metrics to inform business decisions.
  • Collaborate on consolidated financial reporting and deliverables.
  • Conduct analysis and provide recommendations on consolidation and reporting matters.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements and lead projects.
  • Support data-driven decision-making with financial insights.
  • Participate in various projects and analyses as needed.
  • Assist with cash forecasting and monitoring to ensure working capital needs are met.
  • Contribute to month-end closing processes.
  • Establish revenue recognition rules according to ASC 606 guidelines.
  • Assist with designing a functional chart of accounts.
Requirements
  • Desirable qualifications include ACCA certification and relevant academic background. Additional certifications (CPA, CFA, CMA) are beneficial.
  • Minimum 10 years of relevant experience, preferably in a technology or finance sector.
  • Proficiency in QuickBooks, SAP, Oracle, and other ERPs is advantageous.
  • Experience with taxation, including corporate tax, withholding tax filing, sales tax, and income tax.
  • Petty cash handling and verification skills are necessary.
  • Exceptional team management abilities are required.
  • Expertise in using Excel and complex formulas is essential.
  • Familiarity with regulatory compliances (SECP, SRB, FBR, etc.) is desirable.
  • Strong communication skills are vital.
  • Ability to manage accounts receivable and payable is necessary.
  • Preferably experienced in working with technology companies or US firms.
