Senior Accountants play a crucial role in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial records.

They support business operations, provide strategic financial insights, and contribute to informed decision-making.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Financial Statement Preparation: Prepare and review financial statements, ensuring compliance with GAAP and other regulatory requirements.
  • Financial Analysis: Conduct thorough financial analysis and reporting to support business decisions.
  • Closing Processes: Oversee month-end and year-end closing processes, including reconciliations and journal entries.
  • Budgeting and Forecasting: Manage and streamline the budgeting and forecasting processes.
  • Tax Compliance: Assist in the preparation of tax returns and ensure timely tax filings.
  • Internal Controls: Monitor internal controls and ensure adherence to accounting policies and procedures.
  • Staff Development: Provide guidance and mentorship to junior accounting staff.

Qualifications:

  • Accounting Certification: ACCA certification is required.
  • Education: Master's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
  • Experience: 4-5 years of experience in accounting, preferably within a consulting or professional services environment.
  • Skills: Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and tax regulations. Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
  • Presentation Skills: Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills. Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Teamwork: Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
