We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Paediatric Neurology Specialist to join our team as an Assistant Professor.
About the RoleThis is a rewarding opportunity for a talented academic professional to take on key responsibilities in teaching, research, and clinical practice within the Department of Paediatrics and Child Health. The successful candidate will have an independent consultant status and be expected to undertake undergraduate and postgraduate teaching, conduct research, and participate in specified administrative activities along with clinical responsibilities in patient care areas.
Responsibilities- Undertake undergraduate and postgraduate teaching in paediatrics and child health;
- Conduct research and publish papers in peer-reviewed journals;
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to departmental projects;
- Hold an independent consultant status and undertake clinical responsibilities in patient care areas;
To be considered for this role, you must have completed a structured postgraduate training program in Paediatrics from a reputable institution, obtained fellowship training in Paediatric Neurology, and hold relevant qualifications such as FCPS (Paeds Neurology), FRCPCH, MRCPCH, or American Boards. You should also demonstrate scholarship through publications, contributions to education, and major contributions to two or more papers in peer-reviewed journals.
