As an IT Audit Specialist, you will be responsible for assisting and completing internal audit and assurance assignments related to Information Technology.

You will develop a detailed understanding of the activity under audit, including IT risks and controls, and help in developing IT audit work programs.

Performing fieldwork and working with non-IT audit resources to execute integrated audits, reviewing key business flows and information systems is also part of your responsibilities.

You will conduct reviews of IT management policies and procedures, such as change management, business continuity planning/disaster recovery, and information security, to ensure that controls surrounding these processes are adequate.

Assessing IT risks and internal control strengths and weaknesses, executing the work outlined in the audit work program, and documenting the work performed and conclusions in work papers are all key tasks.

You will interact and communicate with management to discuss and present audit results, gain acceptance, and provide advice to remediate audit issues.

Additionally, you will assist Senior Management of Internal Audit in the preparation of presentations for the Audit Committee to discuss internal audit reports and projections.

Participating in special projects by conducting specific and technical review/investigation activities, and carrying out other duties and special assignments as assigned by the Senior Management of Internal Audit.

Our ideal candidate has a Master's degree in a relevant field or a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science. A minimum of 3 years of experience in IT audit or a related field is required.

Candidates with experience in audits/reviews in Oil and Gas or Utility industries, along with CISA/CRISC/CISSP or any relevant IS Audit/Cyber Security/Risk Assessment/Information Security Management certification, will have an added advantage.
