We are seeking a talented Procurement Specialist to join our team.

The ideal candidate will have a strong analytical mind, excellent communication skills, and the ability to build good relationships with vendors and suppliers.

Job Description:

This role involves managing purchase requisitions, creating and processing purchase orders, and ensuring accurate and reliable reporting. The successful candidate will also be responsible for maintaining purchasing data and detailing.

The responsibilities of this role include:

  • Managing purchase requisition and purchase order creation and workflow.
  • Matching purchase orders, processing invoices, and performing payment runs.
  • Chasing up old purchase orders and goods receipting.
  • Updating and maintaining vendor database.
  • Responding to vendor queries.
  • Assisting in reconciling vendors' outstanding balances with the company's party ledgers on a monthly basis.
  • Identifying and making recommendations for improvement in current procure-to-pay processes to increase efficiency.
  • Ensuring completion of unrecorded purchases in software.
  • Negotiating with vendors.
  • Verifying cheque requisitions against purchases and ensuring payments.
  • Recording advances against procurement and adjusting against purchase invoices.
  • Posting payables accurately and on-time in ERP.
  • Assisting during external audits and providing required reports and data.
  • Preparing accounts payable reports for management accounts.
  • Managing day-to-day petty expenses.
  • Recording cash transactions in ERP and reconciling with manual books daily.
  • Managing all procurement.
  • Filling & formulation data entry in ERP regularly.

The successful candidate will possess the following qualifications:

  1. 2-3 years' experience in procurement or purchasing.
  2. High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
  3. Experience using an ERP purchasing system.
  4. Strong communication and negotiation skills.
  5. Analytical and problem-solving skills.
  6. Ability to work as part of a broader team.
  7. Display a positive attitude.
