Senior Backend Engineer Role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Backend Engineer to join our team. As a key member of the engineering organization, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and optimizing scalable backend applications using Node.js and TypeScript.

Key Responsibilities
  • Backend Application Development: Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend applications using Node.js and TypeScript.
  • API and Cloud Solutions: Build and optimize RESTful APIs and cloud-based solutions.
  • Performance Optimization: Ensure high-performance, low-latency applications for global users.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams (engineers, product managers, designers).
  • Testing and Quality Assurance: Implement unit, integration, and load testing for reliability.
  • System Architecture: Drive innovation by contributing to system architecture and design decisions.
Requirements
  • Backend Development Experience: 5+ years of backend development experience.
  • Technical Expertise: Strong expertise in Node.js, TypeScript, MongoDB, Redis, and SQL databases.
  • Scaled Applications: Proven experience in building consumer-facing scalable applications.
  • Computer Science Fundamentals: Solid understanding of computer science fundamentals (data structures, algorithms, performance optimization).
  • Cloud Services: Hands-on experience with cloud services (Google Cloud, DigitalOcean, AWS).
  • Problem-Solving and Communication Skills: Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
Preferred Skills
  • High-Traffic Applications: Experience with high-traffic, low-latency applications.
  • DevOps and CI/CD Pipeline: Strong DevOps and CI/CD pipeline knowledge.
  • Advanced Skills: Background in AI, Digital Signal Processing (DSP), or advanced SQL optimization.
