Job Title: Assistant Finance Manager

Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, including books of accounts.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Financial data entry in the accounting system.
  • Tax deduction at source from payments to employees and vendors.
  • Preparation of Tax Returns and other regulatory compliance documents.
  • Preparation of Project costing reports for informed decision-making.
  • Maintain cash-flow position by effectively managing working capital.
  • Assist with preparation of the budget and financial plans.
  • Implement financial policies and procedures to ensure transparency and accountability.
  • Establish and maintain effective cash controls to prevent loss or misuse of company funds.
  • Prepare and reconcile bank statements on a regular basis.
  • Issue cheques for all accounts due in a timely manner.
  • Prepare income statements and monthly financial reports to track performance.

Requirements:

Qualifications:

  • Professional qualification in finance (MBA - Finance, MCOM) or equivalent.
  • Part-qualified ACMA, ACCA or equivalent certification.
  • Proficient in MS Office and Accounting Softwares like Peachtree and Quick books.
  • Knowledge of federal & local Tax laws and regulations.
  • Good verbal & written communication skills.
