Job Overview

This role involves the maintenance and upkeep of machinery to ensure smooth production operations. The Mechanical Technician will be responsible for conducting regular checks, making repairs as needed, and implementing preventative measures to minimize downtime.

The ideal candidate will have a degree in Engineering and 3-5 years of relevant experience. A strong understanding of mechanical systems and equipment is essential, along with excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct regular inspections and maintenance activities on machinery and equipment to prevent breakdowns and optimize performance
  • Diagnose and resolve technical issues quickly and efficiently, minimizing downtime and ensuring compliance with production procedures
  • Maintain accurate records of all maintenance activities, including installation, repair, and replacement of parts
  • Collaborate with other teams to identify areas for improvement and implement process enhancements
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest developments in maintenance and engineering to ensure best practices are adopted consistently
Requirements

Education: Degree in Engineering

Experience: 3-5 years relevant experience preferred
